Walk amongst the beautiful parkland, sing songs, listen to poems and have playful interactions with babies and parents.  Each class incites wonder, connection and curiousity. Class taught by an Early Childhood Educator.

Baby & Me Yoga- pre-crawling or just crawling- NEW!

Breathe and stretch beneath cedar trees to calm the mind, strengthen the body and uplift the spirit with a guided outdoor flow. Instructed by a certified yoga instructor.

Leaders-in Training- 13- 15 Year Olds

Focus on environmental stewardship and ecological literacy in this class designed for youth interested in becoming leaders in the community. This program supports collaboration, innovation and critical thinking in relation to the natural world with leaders working as big buddies to children to develop leadership and training skills. Attendees who complete the program receive a certificate at the end of the course.

5-12 Year Olds: Trailblazers

Join us for a full day inquiry based program that focuses on outdoor curriculum connecting students to the natural world. Funding from recognized Home Learner programs accepted. Email natureschool@richmond.ca for details.

2025-26 school year registration- FULL

  • Friday, Sept 12, 2025 -Friday, June 19, 2026. 9:15am-2:15pm. Registration through the Nature School Coordinator. The program is currently full. Email natureschool@richmond.ca to waitlist.

2026-27 school year registration- Registration is online on Tuesday, March 3,2026, from 7:00am-12:00pm, first come, first served. If you do not get a space please waitlist as spaces may come available. Register at www.richmond.ca/register.
