Summer Camps

Our summer camps offer children meaningful opportunities to connect with each other and the natural world through play, storytelling, and music. Nature awareness games build focus, self-regulation, and observation, while creative art invites imagination using natural and craft materials. Active outdoor play supports physical development and confidence. As children explore and experiment, they deepen their connection to themselves, their community, and the land.

SURVIVOR (6-12 years)

Gather some firsthand outdoor survival strategies and skills that include how to keep warm, make a trap, find edible wilds and build a shelter. Program runs in all weather. All Beyond 4 Walls programs are based in the Terra Nova Rural Park outdoor nature-based setting. A $20 supplies fee added when registering.

HOMESTEADING ADVENTURES (8-12 years)

Discover the lost arts of the past that include crafting butter, spinning wool into yarn and building sun ovens. Practice forgotten skills while connecting with nature, strengthening problem-solving and boosting creativity. Engage in hands-on adventures that foster patience, resilience and teamwork. Explore the diversity of trees in the forest and uncover hidden secrets and learn safety skills while using hand tools to cut, drill and carve to create whittled treasures. Strengthen focus, hand-eye coordination and patience while connecting with nature and engage in hands-on outdoor skill-building that sparks creativity, confidence and mindful exploration.
