Summer Camps – all Ages

We offer summer camps for children ages 2-17 years. Each camp is a magical blend of outdoor adventure, creativity, and hands-on learning in nature. Young campers can explore gentle, play-based experiences as Little Gnomes, discovering the forest through storytelling, sensory play, and nature crafts, while imaginative minds can step into Magical Realms filled with dragons, fairies, music, and creative expression. Older children can take on exciting challenges in Survivor-style camps, building practical skills such as shelter construction, basic first aid awareness, teamwork, and outdoor problem-solving. Across all camps, Terra Nova Nature School nurtures curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of the natural world through meaningful, engaging experiences outdoors.

Passionate Outdoor Educators

Our team is made up of outdoor educators with training as Early Childhood Education (ECE) Assistants, along with individuals holding bachelor’s degrees in art, science, and geography. Together, they nurture children’s development through supportive guidance, a focus on safety, and attentive care.

Land-Based Learning

Children grow through unhurried, play-based experiences that spark imagination, build problem-solving skills, and nurture social confidence. Through a place-based approach, they form deep connections with the natural world—developing respect, ecological awareness, and a lasting sense of care for their environment.

More Connection Through Smaller Groups

Small group sizes in our nature school camps help children connect more deeply with educators, each other, and the natural world. With more individual attention, kids feel supported, build confidence, and form meaningful friendships in a calm, engaging outdoor setting.
